She grinned when Damon Salvatore hesitated. The young girl ran towards the car with sobs of despair escaping. Collins cocked her head as Damon shook his head and then ran after her. Reaching her in no time, he grabbed the girl and without much force got her out of the car and bit into her neck greedily.
The long wait was finally over, Collins thought as a smile crept onto her face. Turning around slowly she began thinking about how she was using to get him on her team.
"Any luck?" the voice hid behind the shadows a few feet from where she stood but Collins knew it too well to even bother looking as her twin sister came closer.
Collins nodded and then added, "He finally cracked."
Ava raised an eyebrow, "It's about time, Nathan and I where beginning to question your choices."
Collins rolled her eyes, "You and Nathan are ridiculous."
Her identical twin sister scoffed, "We need to move."
Collins nodded, "Any word from Nathan or Elise yet?"
"They already began making their way to Mystic Falls."
"Good."
Ava looked around before sighing and asking, "What makes you think this plan will be full proof, Collins?"
Collins raised an eyebrow, "You weren't lying when you said you where questioning me. Where you?" She rolled her eyes, "Either way, I know what I'm doing Ava, unlike the three of you, I learn from my mistakes. The mut was unexpected but that being said, I noticed something extremely important. The Salvatore brothers are in love with the same girl."
Ava shook her head, "I don't see how that's important-"
Collins clenched her jaw, "It's perfect, don't you see? It's our golden opportunity to tear them apart. To get what we want and traveled all this way for."
"I-"
Collins interrupted, "We need to move quickly, Nathan and Elise might ruin everything if they aren't controlled."
"I doubt it. I made sure they were well fed before they left."
"Those two can't ever be well fed."
Ava smirked, "Nathan is more than able to take care of Elise."
Collins rolled her eyes, "Nathan is as much of a newborn as Elise."
"Nathan and Elise are more than capable of getting the job done."
"They're unpredictable. Unstable even, it makes me question why you allowed them to join us in the first place."
"They need to prove themselves."
"Which they should have done on their own terms, not on ours."
"They are family."
Collins hands balled up with anger and she angrily spat, "They are useless to me."
Ava smiled widely, "You haven't even let them show us what they can do."
