Chapter One

The large leaves on the old trees danced as a gentle breeze tumbled by, soon coming to carress the somewhat pale face of a young female, of whom was bracing herself against the stone railing of her bedroom balcony, quietly staring up at the white-kissed moon. A soft sigh escaped from her as she turned, lightly running a petite-like hand through her curly black hair, which cascaded in small ripples down her back, and dangled in her honey-brown eyes, briefly blocking her vision of the world around her. Her love was currently away at the office, being the Minister of Magic that he was. They were both parents now... He should of been home more often. But no. He was still in love with his job, possibly much more so than he was with her. Or her son. Their son. Percival James Weasley.

So much like his father. Curly red hair, beautiful green eyes, a lopsided grin always seeming to be plastered upon his lips. He was currently away at his Gramma Molly's though, at the Burrow with an aunt and a few uncles, as well as his Grampa, getting spoiled more or less. But adorable James... So loveable and yet so stubborn. Just like his father. "Eden," a voice softly called, which caused her to snap out of her thoughts. Turning her head, a smile came to her lips, as she noticed her love standing there. "Percy."

She greeted him with open arms, smiling warmly as she gently pulled him to her, gently hugging. "I missed you today, hon. I was a little lonely," she admitted, still smiling as she gazed up at him. "As I did you, love... As I did you," Percy softly responded, but then suddenly captured her lips in a passionate kiss. "But, I'm here now." She nodded, returning his kiss just as passionately, if not more. "Yes, and I'm glad that you are. Are you hungry? Tired at all? You spend all day at the office, hon... I worry about you."

A sigh now escaped from Percy, but nonetheless he hugged his beloved to him, pressing his lips to her forehead in a kiss. "I know that you do, and I apoligize for worrying you. But I'm fine, love," he paused for a brief moment, "Perhaps you should get some rest, love, I know that you didn't get it at all today."

Eden now seemed to imitate his sigh, but was smiling again. "You know me far too well, Perce, hon," she murmered quietly, kissing him again.

A soft chuckle, and Percy softly kissed her. "Yes, I certainly do. Just as you know me too well," he replied, suddenly picking her up as though she were a bride, and gently lay her down on the canopy bed. "You catch some sleep now, alright?"

Eden pouted slightly, looking ready to protest, but then let a small sigh of obvious defeat. "Alright, hon. Alright."

Percy smiled to himself as he lay down next to her, his long fingers beginning to lovingly thread through her hair. His smile brightened though as he watched her curl up next to his side, and almost instantly drifted off to sleep. Minutes later, he, too, was asleep, his arms lovingly around her, holding her close.
