I learnt it really young, just when I thought that I've found the love of my life, life itself taught me not to precipitate.
I am an only child of a couple that with hard work raise me, I lived in a small town where my parents worked, some years later they divorced and my biggest pillar, my grandma… died. Somehow I was at a drift, when high school was over I decided to apply for University of California, campus Greenland, and thankfully I was accepted, I moved with my two best friends whom I knew since kinder garden; Fernanda and Bekka.
We lived in a small apartment, and my parents deposit each month some money into my bank account so I could live, but since I moved there was no phone call from them, apparently for them it was perfect. In vacations we used to spend the time together, we used to hang out only the three of us and nothing was missing in my life, well maybe someone who could hold me in his arms and told me that he loved me… but I hadn't realised.
I met a guy, his name: Samuel, he was actually handsome, captain of the track team, tall and virile, curly hair and huge circular eyes, our relationship didn't work out, he was a jerk, and I forgot him as soon as I thought we were in love.
Fall in love, is a phrase that is listened really often, and maybe we confuse it more than what we think, being in love of someone is not easy nor simple, it involves many feelings and emotions, I think it is the best of this world, because finally that's why we came. To love and be loved.
Do you know what? A simple detail can change your life, just a blinking and something happens, when it's not expected, and it sends you into a path that you never planned, into a future that never imagined, and that is what you will read from here, how my life changed in a blink, and it did forever.
But you can be calm, because at the end… I want to tell you I am tremendously happy.
