It's 4 Am, and I'm in a good mood, so I decided to write this tiny little oneshot. And in case you can't figure it out, Shine-god is the sun.

Disclaimer: I don't own pikmin, blah, blah, blah.

"Wahoo!" I scream as jump out of the metal onion. I land on my head, as usual, but I still have a smile on my face. Oh sure, you can't actually see it, but it's there. It's always there. How else would I be able to stand getting my head stuck in the snow? Oh yeah, that reminds me!

I pull my head out of the snow I suddenly realize I'm in, and look around. I'm in the snowy land, which is, well, snowy. And cold. It's freezing out here! I wish I was in my warm onion, but oh well, might as well have fun! I run around the "safe area" for a while, but I get bored of that after about thirty seconds of running along the snow walls.

The leaders are still calling the pikmin. Figures, they're slow. They're weird-looking too. They're peach-skinned with white and red or blue-depends on which leader-suits. They have a bubble around their head and a stem with a red/blue light on the end! No leaf, bud, flower, or anything, just a light! And their noses are huge! Err…You get the point. The leaders are weird-looking.

Anyway, I decide that I want to play tag. I run up to a blue pikmin and tag him with my snow white, three-fingered hand.

"Tag, you're it!" I shout, laughing. Instead of chasing after me like I though he would, he just growls, standing with the other blues. They always have to do that, don't they? The others hate my cheerful attitude (with the exceptions of the one-or-two-day-olds, of course). Maybe it's because they can't possibly see how I can be so happy all the time. Sometimes even I don't.

My brothers and sisters are constantly dieing, battles are going on everyday, and I could be killed or even sacrificed any day (Curse that flower and my poison!). Most of them wish I would hurry up and die. But you know what? I don't care! Shine-god has rewarded me for my cheerfulness, since no matter how many close calls there have been, I always make it, and I still have a beautiful pink flower on my stem. I'm twenty-five days old and counting!

The leaders call us over with a loud Beep!, finally finished getting the pikmin, and lead us out of our safe area. As I'm walking toward the land of monsters, Shine-god's smiling down at me. Oh sure, you can't see it, but I see his invisible smile. I always see the invisible smiles.
