KND - KANI SANBAN'S CHILDHOOD IN JAPAN

KanI Sanban: When I was a little boy growing up in Japan, I was taught how to wear a uniform at school by my parents pretty early on in my life.

I probably lived In Tokyo, Japan during my childhood in the 80s, along with Genki Sanban.

I do remember watching Doraemon, Sazae San and Anpanman anime on my leisure time at home when I was living in Japan.

Tattoos and having Four-Fingered hands in Japan usually mean that you're a Yakuza member.

A lot of Japanese schools in general I remembered are being strict in terms of guidelines, like no tattoos, no Dying your hair pink, and more!

That's probably why my daughters, Kuki (AKA NUMBUH 3) and Mushi Sanban, are very lucky to be born in America.

Respecting your elders is also a cultural thing in Japan, as it helps senior citizens in Japan to live their lives to the fullest.

I also remember Disney being very nostalgic in Japan like the rest of the world.

"Cuteness mean for all ages" is also a very common train of thought in Japan, and other East Asian countries.

I'm also aware of Japan's Marine Day's existence, along with Genki Sanban.

Kimonos and Yukatas from Japan are very popular among westerners who are interested in Japanese culture these days.

The Japanese national anthem called "Kimigayo" ("May your reign" in English), which sounds very serious, compared to America's Happy-sounding national anthem called "The Star Spangler Banner".

JAPANESE YEN MONEY are the Japanese equivalent to American dollars.

"Omiyage" is an obligated gift-giving tradition in Japan, unlike in the Western World where people usually buy souvenirs on Vacation.

I bet not most Westerners, but a lot of Westerners tend to be more familiar with Japan than any other Asian country, except for India and Pakistan.

Arcades are also very popular in my 80s Japan childhood and even now.

It was a very nostalgic experience living there in Japan as a full 80s kid.

And so much more!

Overall, I was born in Japan along with my now-wife Genki Sanban, and it was a very nostalgic country for us growing up there.

If you live in Japan, Please be sure to share your own experience living in Japan in your Fanfic review section above. Thanks.

The End

Final note: Kuki Sanban was implied to be a mid 90s and late 2000s kid, while Mushi Sanban is implied to be a late 90s and mid 2000s kid.
