DISCLAIMER: Not mine. I can't say it more clearly than that.
A/N: I read a fanfic from the King Arthur fandom that I borrowed the format from. I thought it was neat. It was a lot harder than it looked, too.
A
Alec – it was just a name, but it was his name, and that made all the difference.
B
Blue Lady – it was all about faith, maybe all about insanity, too. One of those, he really envied Ben.
C
Childhood – he often wondered what it was like to have one that didn't involve guns, drills, pain, and a water tank you watched too many of your brothers and sisters die in.
D
Duty – It wasn't exactly what Manticore had told him it was; duty was about making the choices to do the right thing.
E
Enemies – He had too many to count, but as far as he was concerned, his past was his own worst.
F
Freedom – He hadn't known what it was until he suddenly wished he didn't have to pull the trigger.
G
Guilty – He didn't know which made him guiltier: following orders…or making excuses for why he followed orders.
H
Hell – Remembering all those faces of the people he'd pulled the trigger on and having no answers why...it was a living hell.
I
Idealist – Max was the classic example of one, and he thought it was impractical and careless. But he sure as hell wished he knew how to be one, too.
J
Jokes – They made everything easier to bear, and were even better used to hide the truth.
K
Kiss – He wondered what it would be like to really kiss Max.
L
Love – There was only one thing Logan had that Alec wished he had: to love and be loved.
M
Max – What could he say? She was pretty much the whole alphabet to him.
N
Ninja – If he could get Max to trust him with it, then he knew she trusted him with everything.
O
Ordinaries – Sometimes he found himself wishing he were one of them, then he'd tell himself that he was a unique creature unlike any other.
P
Peace – He figured he was never supposed to find it if he'd been designed as a weapon, but it didn't hurt to try.
Q
Questions – He'd never asked them before, now he had too many to answer.
R
Rachel – She was the reason why he started asking questions in the first place.
S
Seattle – The place was like a rathole in a wall, but it was home.
T
Twins – It wasn't going to be easy to forgive Ben; but it was gonna be harder to forget they were pretty much the same.
U
Unbreakable – He used to think he was unbreakable, until that day Max said something that broke his heart.
V
Violence – He was so good at it, sometimes it scared him.
W
War – It was the only thing he had ever known, yet it was the last thing he wanted to be caught in ever again.
X
X5-494 – He still saw him in the mirror everyday, and he wondered if he would ever go away.
Y
Young – The oldest of them all was only twenty-seven. He figured, they were all too young to die.
Z
Zero – The number of reasons why life wasn't worth living anyway.
A/N: Now you know your ABC's!
