He was hanging by a single, frayed, rope above the sidewalk oh…roughly six stories below and somehow…Raph considered this a part of his great, unfaultable, plan. He made a mental note to remind himself never to agree to go along with Raphael's plans ever again…ever.
He grunted as the rope seemed to buckle, the frayed end giving out a little more. Spectacular, he was only 100 or so feet from either of the two buildings beside him, with no way of getting to them before plunging to his death.
Oh and now its raining, thrilling. Couple that with his bleeding right arm and side and he was just ready to leap for joy. He struggled to adjust his slipping grip on the rope, his feet clenched around it.
Where was Raph?
He blinked as a dark clothed figure flew past him and connected with the alley below, too skinny to be Raph. Hopefully that mean that the hothead was close.
He could just make out the sounds of a battle raging above him, you know if he hadn't injured his arm…he'd be able to reach that ledge about twenty feet up…too bad he couldn't risk swinging toward the building and climbing up. The rope would snap.
Why?
Why did humans insist upon having ropes that were damaged around construction sites? Seriously…someone could die.
Most likely him at this point, but seriously…
Hopefully when he got out of this mess he would still be able to use his right arm…he couldn't feel his fingers anymore. He was going to have to throttle Raph otherwise.
Who was he kidding?
He was going to throttle Raph anyway…
Oh goody…lightening…
If he remembered right this rope was wrapped around an old lightening pole…wonderful.
Fried turtle anyone?
I'm sorry I might be a bit gamey…no fat on me.
He strains to look up and sighs as he gets a face full of rain.
Why didn't he think of that?
Its raining, looking up equals rain in eyes…duh moment…
The rope jerks and he drops a few more inches, it creaks, then moans.
"Oh shut-up," he tells it.
Silence from the now stoic rope, it has accepted its fate.
He rolls his eyes.
Great I'm talking to a rope.
He notices silence from the battle ground above and cocks his head.
"LEO!" Raph calls, "You ok?"
"Nope, I'm dead," he calls back sarcastically.
"Hysterical, really I'm rollin' up here…seriously you ok?" Raph snaps.
"I'll survive," he responds.
"I'll get you up, hold still," Raph orders.
"Like I'm really going anywhere," he mutters to the rope.
Who remained stoically silent in response, he simply blinked back.
"Well fine," he mutters sarcastically.
The rope again claimed indifference.
He rolled his eyes and sighed before grunting as the rope begins to move upward and not long later he feels a hand on his carapace, helping him onto the roof.
"Took you long enough," He grumbles, glancing at the Raph's exhausted figure.
Raph was leaning against the edge of the building, staring at him in shock.
"WHAT?" he sputtered, "You got to hang there and be bait! I did all the fighting."
He blinked.
"It was your idea," he responds simply.
Raph blinks, starts to speak, and then stares at him.
"Shut-up," he finally says before turning and walking towards home.
A/N: XD I love Leo's sarcastic humor. My stories that I am currently not posting lately will be finished I promise. Enjoy my humor for now.
