~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sekhmet Takes the OLSAT Test~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sekhmet sighed. Why do I have to take this test? He wondered.
Another sigh.
It's because we live in the mortal realm again, and have to live like normal teenagers. Which means going to school. But what is the point of these standardized tests?
Sekhmet was jolted out of his thoughts as the teacher gave the instructions for the test.
"Now class, do not begin until I tell you. Open your answer documents to the page that says OLSAT at the top."
The room filled with the sound of pages being flipped.
"Now open your books to the first page." More flipping.
"Read the instructions to yourself as I read them aloud."
Sekhmet groaned. What is the point of both of us reading the instructions? It's not like they're that hard to follow.
"Read the sample question and choose the best answer."
"Blah, blah, blah," Sekhmet murmured to himself, in what he thought was an accurate imitation of the teacher.
"You should have chosen answer B. Now look at your answer document. The sample box has the circle for B filled in. Answer all test questions in this manner. When you come to the end of page one, go on to the next page. Continue in this fashion until you come to the stop sign. If you finish, you may go back and check your answers. Do not go on to any other pages. Are there any questions?"
A young man in the front raised his hand.
"Yes, Mr. Hashiba?"
"May we read after we finish?"
"No, I'm afraid not."
Sekhmet chuckled as he heard the white-haired man in front of him curse softly.
"Is that it? All right, you have forty minutes. Begin."
Okay, thought Sekhmet, number one. So the triangle-thing is to the square thing, as the square-thing is to the blank. Well, the only shape left is the circle, so that has to be it. Sigh. There are three circle- things. Breathe, Sekhmet, breathe. All right, the bigger part of the square- thing is not colored in. Therefore, the circle-thing is uncolored as well. Damn! That still leaves two… Wait! The center of the square is colored in. Yes! Only one circle's center is shaded. So the answer must be D. All right!
Sekhmet raised his fist in triumph.
"A true warrior can overcome any obstacle."
"Shhh!" chorused the rest of the class.
Undaunted, Sekhmet said softly, "I knew this was simple. Now for number two…"
~fin~
AN: So, what did you think? I came up with this after finishing the OLSAT test. Also, I'm not bashing Sekky or anything. It's just that, if the Warlords went (came?) to live in the Mortal realm, they'd have to do boring stuff like SATs and stuff. And it'd be REALLY confusing, don't ya think? Heck, it confuses me, and I haven't been in the Nether realm for a few hundred years…
Anyway, hope you liked it, and to forget to R/R! ^_^
