The 68th Hunger Games - Year of the Anti-Career

The tributes are done with the careers leading the bloodshed in the Hunger Games, always at the expense of their own districts. This year, Nena, the 15 year old Female tribute of district 6 joins a group of fed up peers. Led by a headstrong leader, and set in a post apocalyptic L.A. arena, Nena and the rest of the Anti-Careers, hope that it's one of them who wins... the 68th H.G.

The 68th Hunger Games – The Year of the Anti-Careers

Nena Beiyah, 15 years old, with long raven hair and a heart shaped face, walked towards the 12 year old. The crowd mumbled in the distance, two bowls no longer needed.

He was a scared little headful of brown curls. Already taking the role of "motherly", Nena sent a smile his way.

"Hey, haven't seen you around. What part of district 6 are you from?"

"The trains", he answered, barely audible.

"Oh, I'm from the…"

Nena stopped as the boy looked into the crowd, distracted by a loved one, she guessed. Gilly Hicks was his name, the boy tribute from district 6. He was what Nena thought of as a 'No chancer' as far as the Hunger Games went, but he'd be dead within the month and didn't need his last Days to be any more unbearable. Besides, Nena found comfort in comforting him.

Within seconds they were rushed into rooms in which to say goodbye to their loved ones, and minutes later, they were on a train and on their way to the capital.
