I was just some red head
Not someone you'd like
With an irritating temper
And a broken bike.

At the beginning of our journey
You never listened to anything I said
Again I'd lose my temper, get upset
But to you, I was still just some red head.

When our duo became three
There were lessons that we learned
We finally got along, we smiled
Your friendship I had earned

As our journey progressed
I knew it had to end, someday
So long and far we'd travelled

"But look on the bright side!" I told myself

Her smile was bright and happy

Instead she grinned at you
And leaned over to admire my sleeping Togepi.

At the end of that day, I finally left, I couldn't stay...
And what I heard as I walked away,
Was her sweet voice whisper "That red head...."
