Disclaimer: The following poem is mine. Please don't use it without my consent!

This is a  poem about the Balrog that shows up on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm
in 'Fellowship of the Ring'.
Pure nonsense, and I had quite some fun writing it. (11.04.02)

Death of my secret Hero

Wings of Shadow, breath of Flame
You know you love him all the same
An ancient foe, bringing terror is his pleasure
Yet he is hot beyond all measure
With those flames that start eating at your heart

He comes closer, and you almost faint
Not because this creature is an Angel or a Saint
It's the beast inside him that makes your world swirl
So you take a step back, and with a whirl
Face Legolas and shout: "Now shoot him already!"
