"Come on cousin! Walk faster!" The sound of the plump boy's voice reverberated around the museum. The scolding of his uncle irritated him, making him groan as he walked briskly towards their disappearing figures across the small hallway. His small 12 year old body tried to catch up, sweat now dripping down his forehead. He was too busy staring at his cousin's figure turning into an intersection far away that he hadn't noticed the small girl he bumped into. He saw her scowl at him momentarily, making him stop on his tracks abruptly.
"That was unnecessary." He heard her high pitched voice mumble.
"I didn't meant to, I swear." The panic in his voice made her face change completely, which was now etched with a small smile.
"Funny. Very amusing. Im Hermione, by the way." She said, holding out her hand.
"Im-" He felt the familiar plump hand of his uncle drag him by the back, making him frown as he turned his back hesitantly, glancing back at her with an apologetic gaze. She then etched every feature of his face on her memory.
He'd abide by the boy with the uniquely shaped scar on his forehead.
