All My Love

All I want for you is what you need
the means to prosper and grow- not bleed.
All I want is not insane.
I wish my daughter to escape her pain.
All I want for you is a gift from above;
A chance for you, dear Kate,
to live and love.

Though your eyes still shine
their light is almost done;
your flame is withering.
Despite all the bickering
I love you, and shall definitely miss you;
my little sis.

A father-daughter moment is required.
Though surely, love, you are quite tired. My beloved child,
who I love to the moon
I wish to see your eyes bright
and your hair grow wild,
Before your time comes.
I pray it not be soon.

My sister, my double;
your request makes much pain
causes a great deal of trouble.
All my love is to you in your life.
You've taken my heart
and even death shan't do us part.
I forgive you, for the kidney, my heart
your theft;
but now I've given my life for yours
for life was all I had left.

I hope you enjoyed that... I wrote it as an English project a while back and I just felt like putting it out there, as a kinda mini tribute to my Grandma; who passed away Sunday morning, May 8th 2016.
She always encouraged me to keep writing, even when I barely knew how to spell my own name. And seeing as we couldn't afford to have anyone but my mother go to her funeral, I wrote a poem for her, but I don't want that piece published or on the internet... So all my love with you, grandma. I miss you so so much.

Hope it wasn't to depressing...
-Jessie.
