Sakura couldn't
believe what was going to happen. Today was the day. Two souls were
going to be bind forever. He finally asked her the question and she
said yes. And here she was in a church about to be married to the one
man she was in love.
There was a knock on the door. Sakura walked
over to open seeing Naruto. He seemed a little upset about her
marriage, but he never did say it out loud. His messy hair actually a
little nicer than normal. Instead of his normal black and orange
outfit, it was replaced with a black suit.
"I just wanted to
give you congrats on the wedding. Sasuke will be a good husband."
"Thank you Narutto." Sakura said as she gave Naruto a kiss on
the cheek.
Two teardrops were floatin' down the river
One
teardrop said to the other,
"I'm from the soft
green eyes of a woman in love.
I'm a tear of joy
she couldn't carry.
She was so happy she'd just
gotten married.
I was on her cheek when she wiped
me away with her glove.
I could tell on the look on
her face, she didn't need me.
So I drifted on down
and caught me a ride to the sea.'
"Sakura… Please I
beg you, don't go." He whispered to her.
Sakura held her bags
in her hands; tears threatening to escape Sasuke's eyes. This
wasn't supposed to happen them. They were in love. People in love
don't lose it that quick, or at least never lose it at all. But
here she was with her bags going to him.
In his heart he knew she
was with another man. He never wanted to admit it to himself. But
that was he who wanting to be blind. He wanted to pretend that it
wasn't happening. Sakura wasn't having an affair. She never
smelled like another man at least once a night.
"Sasuke, I'm
sorry." Sakura cried. "But I don't love you anymore." She
said as she left the door.
There he was alone once more, asking
why.
The other tear said, "We've got a connection.
I'm
a tear of sorrow born of rejection.
I'm from the
sad brown eyes of her old flame.
She told him they
would be life long companions,
Left him with
questions and not enough answers.
I was on his
cheek as he stood there callin' her name.
I could
tell he had a lot of my friends for company.
So I
drifted on down and caught me a ride to the sea.'
Naruto
was waiting patiently at the hospital. All the others waited along
with him. He looked like a nervous wreck. His fingernails were all
chewed to the bone. She was in there alone. He couldn't go in there
for the time being. They told him. At first he was pretty mad about
not being allowed, but that didn't matter anymore. He just wanted
both of them to be fine.
"Everything will be alright." Lee
said.
"Thanks." Naruto murmured tiredly.
He was rather
surprised Lee would even set foot in a hospital when he spent a lot
of his time avoiding them, not that well since he trained to the
point of being a regular from time to time.
"Lee, what time is
it?" Naruto asked.
Lee looked up at a clock, turning back to
him, "About 11:10."
Two nurses walked into the waiting room,
one of them walking to Naruto.
"It's a healthy baby girl.
Both of them are fine, you can see them in five minutes."
The
other nurse unfortunately had to give the other person terrible news.
Last night I sat in the waiting room,
The
nurse walked in and gave me the news,
It's a baby
girl and they're both fine.
An old man sittin' not
ten feet away,
Just lost his wife, and he said to
me,
"You've got a brand new angel and I've lost
mine.
I guess the good lord givedth and the good
lord taketh away.'
And we both wiped a teardrop
from our face.
End.
This is a song fic. I was listening to this song and was like I have to write a song fan fic. And if you noticed the title of the story, it's the same as the song. It's a really good song.
