Part 151 of the Elfwine Chronicles. The Elfwine Chronicles are a series of one-shots built around the family group of Eomer, Lothiriel and Elfwine. The total number will depend on how many ideas I get for new vignettes.
A/N: No idea where this came from. I was just sitting here goofing off before going to run some errands and next thing I knew, there it was! I am working on yet another non-Chronicle Eomer/Lothiriel pairing story, but who knows how long that will take. Due to the nature of the story line, it could take awhile to get it all into place. So that only makes about a half dozen unfinished works in progress. (FYI: This is only about a month into their marriage.)(And this is officially the 150th story of the Chronicles, since 106 is still pending.)

Eomer quietly entered the bedchamber, carefully trying not to disturb his sleeping wife. Moving over to the bed, he gazed down on her, lit faintly by the dying fire. So beautiful, and at long last his. It felt as though he had waited an eternity to make her his bride.
Skinning out of his clothes, he washed and slipped on his nightshirt, then returned to the bed. For several minutes he was content just to watch his wife in slumber, but at length he sat down gently on the side of the bed. Leaning over, he pressed a tender kiss to her lips. Before he could withdraw from the loving gesture, arms snaked up around his neck and pulled him tightly into a deeper kiss.
As they parted, he gave a chuckle. "I did not think you were truly asleep!"
She gave him a pout. "I have been waiting for you forever! How cruel you treat your bride. Have you lost interest in me so soon?"
He grinned, and slid under the covers beside her. "Hardly! If anything, I am even more interested than I was before!" he teased. He began peppering her with light kisses on her face and throat, and she did not attempt to hide her soft mewls of pleasure at his attentions.
"How shall I make it up to you, for being so thoughtless, hmmm?" he whispered, his voice dropping low and intimate.
"Perhaps you should buy me a new dress," she suggested with a smirk.
"But I am not interested in clothing you just now!" he protested innocently.
"Then maybe you should take me to Dol Amroth to visit my family," she offered, smiling beguilingly at him.
"It is too dark. We could not see the road for such a journey," he apologized none too sincerely.
Her smile widened. "You are full of excuses! What do you suggest as recompense for my ill use at your hands?"
A fire lit in his eyes as he pressed close against her. "Let me show you. If it does not satisfy, we will discuss other options come the morning!" he murmured huskily.
She gave a giggle and tangled her fingers in his hair. "A bargain! You may proceed!"
Eomer grinned and then did just that.
THE END

End note: It is best that you read the Elfwine Chronicles in the order they were written. The more of them that I wrote, the more likely I was to make reference to one of the previous ones and something that happened there. If you want to read them in order, go to the top of this page and click on my name (Deandra). That will take you to my profile page. Scroll down and you will find all the stories I have written. The Elfwine Chronicles are in order from bottom to top since ffn shows them in the order they were posted. A few were posted out of number order, but you can read them in posting order or number order since those few won't be affected in the story content.
