A/N: I know I haven't updated any of my other stories. This is the first one that I know how is going to turn out, so I decided to post it and you guys won't have to wait long for the next chapters (I think there is going to be at least 18 chapters). I'm sorry for my English because it is not perfect and I'm doing my best. (For the record, I'm writing new chapters for my other stories cause I want to finish them, but I'm not sure when they will be up).
On with the story.
Enjoy.

A/N: It's been almost 10 years from when I started to write this story. I am giving myself and my writing another go, although I am completely different from the adolescent I was when I've started reading and trying to write fanfictions. Let's see how things turn out. Thank you for the people who read me back then and the ones that are reading me now. I am rewriting some parts of this, correcting the grammar mistakes I can find, but I want to maintain the old as it was, to remember how I was and how I've changed.
A year had gone by.
Lorelai and Luke were finally taking their relationship to the next level and were going to the altar.
The entire city waited with anxiety for their wedding.
All Stars Hollow's folks had watched their dance around each other for years. The arguments, the bickering and the way they secretly flirted. Luke and Lorelai had been the only ones that hadn't noticed it, apparently.
Someday, though, Luke woke up and opened his eyes in a different way, noticing, for the first time, the lunatic-crazy for coffee-woman for whom, he realized, he had been in love for eight years.
He had finally kissed her and, since that day, they hadn't been able to let go of each other (except for a misunderstanding in the beginning of their relationship, which ended up with a cinematographic kiss).
They both had decided for a big celebration, because they knew they deserved it.
The wedding was going to be in the town square, the second one conceived there. Yellow daisies would decorate the place and Luke had agreed their honeymoon would be somewhere that involved a lot of snow. At first, he was not really into the idea of a big party and had preferred they had a small wedding. However, he especially wanted it to be one of the best and perfect days of her life, so he had decided he would make all of her wishes come true, except for the arriving on top of a white horse part.
All was already set for the perfect day.
It had been 3 months since Lorelai and Rory had worked things out and gone back to normal.
Lorelai was expecting a child and had not been able to hide her pregnancy from her daughter.
She had picked up the phone and dialled Rory's cell phone number. At the beginning of their conversation, she had been a little cold and distant, still hurt with Rory's decisions. Nevertheless, as soon as the happy news were out, mother and daughter were back to their friendship bow.
The two of them had agreed to meet and had had an honest talk with each other, after which Rory finally opened her eyes and rediscovered her dream of becoming a journalist. She went back to Yale and left her grandparent's house.
Lorelai and Emily had had another one of their big fights, the greatest one yet, and their relationship finally broke in too many pieces to be remade.
Lorelai remembered with sadness the day their relationship finally sank. Emily and Lorelai were no longer mother and daughter.
Lorelai had agreed to help Rory face her grandparents at the Gilmore's residence.
Emily had opened the door and, after a few moments of constant staring, she murmured a simple: "Lorelai. Come in."
Stepping into the house she had promised herself she would never come back to, she politely saluted Emily, "Hello, mother, how are you?
Emily ignored her daughter's intent of small talk and answered dryly: "Come on Lorelai, fast clarify me why you are here. We both know you didn't come all the way from Stars Hollow to see how I'm doing."
"Actually, I'm here for Rory." Lorelai coldly responded.
As soon as Lorelai had said that, Rory appeared and looked anxiously at her, as if asking for reassurance with her eyes. Lorelai returned her gaze, supportively, and Rory firmly said, "We need to talk, grandma."
Emily nodded, a little taken aback with the words of determination coming from her granddaughter's lips.
Lorelai informed them that she would be talking to her father in his office room, if they eventually needed her.
Emily then returned her look back to Rory's face, "Let's talk." She motioned for them to sit down on the couch.
A/N: That was chapter one.
Next chapter: Lorelai and Richard talk. Hope you liked it. Review it please; let me know what you think.
