Dana Grayson sighed as she pulled into her driveway and walked up to the door. Summer was finally coming and she really didn't mind hot weather. It was just the humidity that bothered her.
She opened the door and walked to the living room to find the cutest sight she'd ever seen. Carter held their one year old son against his chest no doubt trying to get him to sleep, but Carter had fallen asleep himself.
Dana's heart swelled as she stared at the two men she loved most in the world. She had married Carter six years ago and with David life was perfect.
She considered taking a photo but Carter had warned her if she took to many photos when he wasn't looking, he'd find a way to get her back. Dana quietly took her son and put him in his crib, then returned to the living room.
She gently kissed his lips, "Ok stranger time to get up."
Carter's eyes opened, "hey gorgeous."
"You two make a cute sight."
Carter smiled; "everybody says that about you and me. Chad called an hour ago; he and Kelsey have decided to have children."
Dana smiled; "finally, Joel and Angela have three, we have David, and it's about time they joined in."
"He wanted to know if they could have David for the night just to see what its like."
"I have no problem with that," She smiled, "It'll be just you and me it's been a long time."
"To long", His eyes heated as he stared at her.
Kelsey smiled at her friend, "Don't worry Dana we'll make sure he has a good time."
Dana smiled; "I know you will."
She soon drove to her favorite meadow where Carter was waiting. He had proposed to her there, and it was where their son had been conceived. She smiled at the picnic.
"You know how to thrill a girl."
He smiled his schoolboy grin, "I try."
Soon the sun had set and they sat looking at the stars and began to kiss. "We better take this somewhere else." He said.
Dana had no desire to go all the way home, "We'll be fine here."
Carter chose not to argue and the sensations continued to build until finally they both cried out. "I love you." He whispered.
"I love you Carter Grayson now and forever."
Dana smiled as she found her clothes and the grass sticking to them; it was a little memento of this night.
There would soon be another little reminder when nine months later she gave birth to a daughter.
