(Jaquel's POV)

It was all darkness as far as I can remember. I remember water, tears, darkness, and sorrow. I kept reminding myself of the wonders tomorrow would bring, but no, it was all despair, destruction, and devastation.

My name is Jaquel. Just Jaquel.

My birth was abnormal, for I was ripped away from my mother years ago and kept under comatose sleep under the ocean. But alongside me, was a weapon: A Japanese sword that was forged many years ago.

Then years later, I awoke and floated out of the water. But everything around me changed, there were so many things I never even knew. As I reached shore, I started crying hoping someone would find me, but I got my wish. A blue dog wearing a red tie and a monocle and a pith hat found me and adopted me as his daughter. Over the years, I grew wise, beautiful, and strong. I was able to master sword-fighting, map all the locations of the new world, used machinery, and how to use martial Arts.

But one day, when I was walking around I found my old blanket as I saw something strange on it, it was a symbol of a square with a small line sticking out on four sides, I asked my adopted father Rothchild about it and he examined it, turns out it was a symbol to a long lost kingdom, but the database wasn't able to tell me more. For all my life, I wondered where I came from, my father told me that he examined me long ago, and I found out that I was a waif in a deep sleep, he even found some greasy substance on me, revealing that I was prematurely unborn. I didn't doubt him, for a long time I had flashbacks of water and light and just recently a woman screaming and blood. Rothchild decided to reanalyze me and found out that Aku ripped me away from my mother years ago from Imperial Japan before he took over the world.

I wondered if my birth family had any survivors. One day, I left to find my birth home, only to see it blossomed with plants, revealing it was years since it was ruins. I believed that Aku destroyed my previous home, leaving no survivors. I made a promise to avenge my birth family and to protect my current one; if I ever see Aku, by my blade I would show that monster no mercy.

Over the years, Aku's ruthlessness caused me to train even harder, in hopes to kill him and bring peace. One day having enough of Aku's rule on them, Rothchild and two of his friends left to find someone to help and stop Aku, leaving me and my canine family and friends filled with hope that someone would help and end Aku's machines.

Only time will tell if they did. But I believed they will.
