A/N: As the title say there will be more than one one shot. That is only if i get reviews. I want to know what people think of the story.

The prince returned to his kingdom and the war was finally over. Calcifer returned and Howl and Sophie were in love. It was the ordinary day in the castle. Sophie had just cleaned to bathrooms, as well as the whole house.

"How can two people make such a big mess in such a short time? Things just went back to normal." Sophie said and plopped down in a chair in front of Calcifer.

"You have to remember both of them are wizards." Calcifer reminded her.

"I know, but still."

Sophie laid her head down on the hearth.

"Sophie I know you're tired, but would you mind handing me another log."

"Sure Calcifer."

She got up and walked over to the pile of wood. She picked up three and moved to place them in front of Calcifer. Went she was about to sit back down, the all too familiar yelling of Wizard Howl echoed down to stair. He was still yelling as he ran down the stairs bumping into any wall he could.

"Sophie did you clean the bathroom again?!"

He ran to her and shoved his head into her face.

"Look! Look what you did to my hair again!" he said and slumped down into Sophie's chair.

Sophie stared at Howl. His hair was purple. She tried her best not to laugh.

"Howl I did clean to bathroom, but was careful not to mess with anything."

He didn't look up at her.

"You hate me. That's the only explanation. You want nothing more than for me to be laughed at."

"Sophie that's harsh. How could you do that to Howl?" Calcifer said.

"Cal, don't take his side you now I wouldn't do that."

The wall began to shake. Markl ran to the stair from his room.

"what's going on? Sophie did you upset Master Howl again?"

"Not you too Markl." Sophie said looking up at the boy.

Sophie looked back at Howl and bent down beside him.

"Howl you know I love you and I'd never do this to you."

In a flash the shaking stop and Howl kissed Sophie. Sophie sat there wide-eyed.

"I know that. I just wanted to hear you say you loved me."

Howl got up and ran back up the stair before Sophie could react.

"I…I was tricked."

When in finally set in Sophie jumped up and ran to Howl's room.

"HOWL!" she yelled.

She barged into Howl's room, but he wasn't in there.

Suddenly Howl popped out from behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up. Then he started spinning her around. When he stopped he set back on the ground and put his head on her shoulder.

"I love you too." He said in her ear.
