The planet Mars, now known as Famia, has broadcast a reality TV show called "The Hunger Games" every year for the past 44 years. Famians from District 12, the Solar-Communications area which rarely wins, remind their Earthling friends not to get too attached to them... but why is a Earthling acting the same way? It is the Year 2177, and 125 years ago, the species known as the Homo Sapien, or the Human kind, spawned life on Mars. They named this planet 'Famia', the people being Famians, a subspecies spawned from the different atmosphere.

Life was all good on Famia until a rebellion came out of the sparks! 44 Years ago, many Famian people rose up against the Political Government. They failed, leading to a group of serious consequences.

Famians were no longer allowed to choose their career path, and the planet was seperated into 12 Districts. As well as this, each year, a girl and a boy aged 12-18 from each District is taken away from their home to compete to the death in a reality TV show they dubbed "The Hunger Games", 23 would die, only one would survive.

So why is it that an non-Famian being would try to keep their 2 friends from not getting too attached to their being?
