One wish? He has one wish and he could do whatever he wanted with it? Maybe he would use it on his mom… have his father come back for a day; or maybe he would ask to be human again just to feel the blood rushing through his veins, his heart beat for once… or maybe for one day he would make it so that the bite with Caroline never happened and that he never left her behind; although he knew in the back of his mind that they would've fell through soon enough but not having to regret that anymore… Or maybe just maybe he would use the one wish to say goodbye.
"I'm not disappointed in you Tyler, for killing Sarah and triggering the curse…" His Uncle Mason told him over and over again as the male sat right next to him with his eyes pointed down on the floor. They had a long day together one in which Tyler told him everything about what he was and everything that had been going on in his life and the older Lockwood male told him what it was like on the other side how he could watch him whenever he wanted and to be there for him through the hard times that he seemed to have. He claimed that he never wanted this life for Tyler when the male first appeared to him but they both dropped it leaving it in hugs, a few tears and nothing but happiness through the both of them. The entire day was spent running, going in Mystic Falls to see the places that he hadn't seen with his human eye in a while to talking over drinks which they were doing right now and those drinks seemed to end up in another conversation of Tyler believing that Mason was disappointed in him; that triggering the cruse was his doing not Katherine's or whomever else's but his.
"I just know that you're ashamed that I'm living this life that I did all of this on purpose I just know that you probably sit there and watch me shaking my head thinking about how much of a dumbass I am… I just know." He spoke softly, a few tears leaving his eyes as he felt the males arm wrap around his shoulders pulling him into a sideways hug. "I'm not your dad, Ty; I'm not a dick. I'm not ashamed of you… I never could be. I'm… I'm proud of you Tyler; I really am. I mean hell you fought back against Klaus when it came to that bond? I couldn't even do that shit with Damon, you're strong Tyler and I know that you don't think you are… I see you second guessing yourself all the time but Tyler, you are. You're the strongest out of all the Lockwood's and you don't let shit like that get to you anymore and I'm just… I'm proud."
Looking up at the older male, the tears came out more as he wrapped his arms around the male burying himself into his chest. That's all he wanted… for someone to say that they were proud of him for once, because he sure as hell wasn't going to hear it from his mother or his father whom both thought he was shit after a while because of the things that he had done in the past. But with Mason's word… being proud of him; that was all that he needed… to know that he wasn't always in the wrong and that someone that he looked up to thought that he was in the right.
He hugged tighter against the male as he felt it all slip away, as he felt the male start to leave him behind again but he kept his grip around him as he slowly started to slip away. "I miss you, Mason… don't leave me." He felt himself choked out as the male patted his back strongly as the younger male continued to tear up. "I'll always be here, Tyler; I'll always be watching… I'll never leave you, I promise." And with that everything slipped away leaving Tyler to open his eyes to see no traces of the male except for his words that rang through his ears. "Goodbye."
