I wrote this story because I LOVE the movie "The Cat Returns" and "Whispers of the heart" The settings will be mostly be from The CatReturns. I am not making this a cross over since I felt it should be like this. I hope you enjoy...
Baron was walking down the street on the way to his little village square when all of a sudden he saw a girl across the street, not much paying attention to the game going on behind her, but more so on the book she was reading. He then noticed a ball was coming strait at her head so he dropped his things and went on to save the girl just like he, the dashing hero would.
He tackled her and down went the girl as the ball just missed her head by an instant.
"Aww hello there! Thank you for saving me from a nasty concussion, is your name?
"It's Baron at your service miss" Baron said.
"Gah! You speak! You can talk!" The girl asked in shock, her brown eye wide opened with curiosity.
"Yes I can speak and talk, although they are the same things. I can also do much more then that." He replied.
"Well thanks for saving me hehe...how can I ever repay you?" She asked.
"Well you can start by introducing yourself and helping me with my stuff." He said smiling as he got up off the muddy ground.
"Uh my name is Emily. Where is your stuff?"
"Oh it's just across the street."
"Oh no!"
"What?"
"I got your clothes all muddy!"
"Oh it is fine, I shall take care of it shortly when I get to my home."
"What is this stuff?"
"Oh it is some tea ingredients. I always run out so quickly you see."
"Tea...I like tea. I never have it much though since my mom does not buy it and I am not allowed out that much."
"Then how is it you are out here right now?"
"I am at school. I am allowed out if it has to do with school."
"Oh I see! So this is a school! How delightful!"
"I do not think it is that delightful. We have tests and homework. I mean sure my friends are okay but I sometimes do not think it is worth it."
"Oh... see I would not know the whole story you see for I spent the first year of my life in a english doll shop, then a few years in a German bar, a few more years in Japan, until I finally arrived here in America to end up on some teachers desk. Yet I am never taken into the class room just left in the office so I would not know how it is. Yet I do know most of the stuff I need to know but I would like to learn more."
"Like what?"
"French for starters. German and Japan where simple enough to pick up on but since I have never been to france I do not know the language and I do so terribly want to learn it."
"I know some french, I could teach you what I know if you want. It is the least I could do after you helped me and I got your clothes all messy!" She exclaimed.
"Oh yes that would be delightful!" The Baron said.
"Ah here we go now just down that alley and we'll be at my house."
