Caught In The Rain
Tenten stared out the window, an aggravated look on her face.
The rain was pounding against her window, smashing against it so hard it looked as though it were going to shatter into a million pieces.
Tenten clasped onto the towel on her lap as though she were going to throw a hissy fit. It was summer, and the rain was pouring down harder then ever, this was the day her and Shino had planned for weeks to go to the beach…and it had rained!
Tenten felt absolutely horrid, she had woke up this morning and it was bright and sunny, she felt wonderful…She took a shower put on her bikini grabbed a beach towel and when she came into the living room, this was what she saw.
She fell back onto her bed and kicked her sandals off in a rhythmical motion.
She then began tapping her knuckles against the wall to pass the time.
Maybe it will stop raining? She thought, hopefully as she removed her hand from the wall and put both hands behind her head, trying to relax herself a bit.
When it came to patience, Tenten never was the person who had it, she questioned how Shino could put up with her impatiences and wondered what he was doing at this very moment.
She then rolled over onto her side and stared at the door, wondering what she should do, but as she thought about it her mind faded and she drifted into a sleep.
What woke her a few hours later was a light knock on her door, she jumped up, causing her towel to flop to the ground.
She opened it and saw Shino standing there in a hood and sunglasses, rain pouring down on him.
"Its still raining?" Tenten thought aloud, in a curious tone.
Shino said nothing, just stared at her.
She then realized that she was being very rude and let him inside, and closed the door as he stepped in all the way.
He took off his shoes then just stared at her more.
Tenten was very curious as to what was going on…She wondered if maybe she was naked!
She tilted her head, and questioned him, "Am I naked or something?"
"Or something.." He answered simply, still eying her.
She thought back to earlier today, and all of her blood rushed to her face as she realized…she was still wearing her bikini, in hope of the rain stopping!
"Don't be embarrassed, you look very cute." He said, it had a hint of something Tenten had never heard out of him before.
"Really…" Tenten managed to stutter out, before looking down still a tad embarrassed that she answered the door like this.
Shino lifted his hand under her chin and used it to move her head back up to face him, "Really." He whispered, as he leaned forward and kissed her gently.
Tenten slowly moved her arms up around his neck, and stepped closer to him as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Maybe being stuck inside while its raining is better then being outside at the beach.
