'This cant be happening. This cant be happening.' This was the only thought going through Elliot's mind as he ran to Olivia.
"Olivia! Oh my God Olivia." Elliot cried as he knelt on the floor of the underground subway station next to his partner. He was franticly trying to stop the blood which was pouring from a wound in her neck.

"Don't leave me Olivia. I need you." Elliot whispered into her hair as he held onto her for dear life. 'Please lord I'm begging you don't take her from me' was the silent prayer going through his head like a record set on repeat.

Elliot felt like he was in a dream, a nightmare. He could no longer hear or see anything that was happening around him. His senses were clouded, all of them focusing in on her. He could only see Olivia. He could only hear her struggling for one last breath. Her blood seeping through his fingers was the only thing he could feel. The copper scent of his partner's blood was the only thing he could smell.

Elliot was crying harder than he ever had before. His tears fell from his face onto hers. Her blood and his tears mixed together beneath their bodies.

Olivia's body went limp in Elliot's arms. "No, Olivia" he cried. He checked for a pulse and found none. He knew it was over. This was the end of the line for Detective Olivia Benson.

"Sir we need you to move" a paramedic said sternly to Elliot. Elliot remained where he was not hearing the paramedic, all of his senses still with Olivia. The paramedic gently pulled Elliot away from Olivia. This really was it, the end of the line.
