Another day, another bruise.
That's how it went.
Ty would show up, his goofy smiles slowly withering into unemotional stretches of lips, the fire in his eyes dying away. He had bruises on every part of his body, it seemed, and flinched whenever someone even just touched him.
Sky scowled, remembering how he did a parkour map with Ty yesterday. The smaller brunet hissed every time his feet hit the ground or pretty much every time he moved. Sky couldn't stand the sight of it anymore, so he called it quits after the first few checkpoints.
Today, he was going to go to Ty's and get him to stay inside, for once. He opened the door, which was unlocked, surprisingly. He had to remind Ty to lock it.
"Ty! You need to lock the doors!" he called out, closing it after himself.
"Ty?" he asked when he got no response.
He wandered inside, looking around for the brunet. He found him in the bedroom, without a shirt, exposing all of his bruised skin, the bruises colored all varieties of red and blue and sickly green. He was pushed up against the wall by his boyfriend, whose hand was raised as the smaller cowered.
"Oh no, you don't!" Sky mumbled darkly as he charged in, knocking the guy onto the floor and littering him with punches. He didn't stop until the guy didn't push him away, standing up and running away from the house with a sneer of his name.
Sky kneeled next to Ty, blushing away the bangs from his eyes. Ty flinched and Sky pulled him into a gentle hug, being careful not to touch him too much.
"Shhh, it's okay," he whispered, stroking Ty's hair softly. "He's gone. I won't let him hurt you ever again."
"You promise" Ty mumbled, looking up with tears in his eyes.
"I promise," Sky said, leaning down to place a small, butterfly kiss onto Ty's cheek.
