It was raining and pouring. Large patches of mud littered the usually beautiful Sohma Estate. Haru had been on his way to Momiji's House, which wasn't too far, but the sudden onset of rain and his poor direction had left him stuck in a storm protection room.

All the houses were intergrated. If you went through the inside, you could go through several houses in a line. Haru didn't want to trespass, and he knew better than to disturb the peace of others, and he tried counting the houses along until he reached Momiji's. This tactic sounded much easier in his head. After getting substantially far away from his own house, he forgot what number he was at, and was now completely lost.

His mother has alerted the family soon after she brought chicken noodle soup up to an empty room. The family wasn't too concerned, though. Haru was a tough boy, and he didn't get sick very easily. Yuki, on the other hand, would have had everyone worried sick, and they soon found out he was gone as well.

Yuki had made his way, drenched and coughing to all the places he thought Haru might be. He checked the Secret Base garden, and had no luck, changing his mind set to where he thought Haru might wait out a storm. He checked 3 storm protection rooms with no luck, before finding Haru twiddling his thumbs.

"Haru..." he coughed 3 times. "I'm so glad I foun.." Cough. "Found you. Did you get lost?" Cough. Yuki looked like he was seriously sick. He talked sleepily and coughed often, falling on his knees after failing to find balance. But even though he was as sick as he was, and weak as he was, his only concern, was Haru.

"Yuki!" yelled Haru, trying to help Yuki up. "Don't tell me you went out in the rain.." Yuki weakly nodded, blushing.

"Oh, Yuki...you know how susceptible you are to fevers and what if you had an attack, or...Yuki, thank you, but I would've been fine by myself."

"I thought you might be lonely...by...your...yourse..self..." The poor boy dropped to the ground struggling for air.

Haru felt his head, and thought he might've gotten a 2nd degree burn with the heat radiating off of him. He needs help, Haru though. "Man, this is bad." Haru took his jacket off and placed under Yuki's head. Haru was younger than Yuki, but at times like these he felt like Yuki was the younger one. His childish face and gentle demeanor only strengthened that thought. Yuki looks so cute when he's sleeping, but no time for that, I have to get Yuki help. Without another thought, Haru picked up Yuki bridal style and ran back to the Estate, seeking out Hatori's house as if he had known the area his entire life, which he had, but this is Haru we're talking about.

Rushing into his office, he layed Yuki down on the bed, and filled a bucket with cold water, dipped a paper towel into it, a put it on his Yuki's forehead. He then rushed to get Hatori, who then concluded that Yuki was in fact very sick and needed immediate medical attention, ruffling Haru's hair before rushing to get the appropriate medical supplies, which he had left in Akito's room.

When Yuki awoke, and his fever went down, he had requested to see Haru, and even after that, his only question was,

"You aren't lonely anymore, right?"
