E/O CHALLENGE

Word: pillow

Word Count: 100 on the nose, baby! Just like the rules say...

A/N: Trying to get back into the habit of writing... and so far season 8 is poking my muse fiercely...

At first Sam thought that maybe the changes he saw in Dean were just a result of his own new perspective. Eventually he realized that when they'd been re-united after Sam had been at Stanford and Dean had grown into a full-fledged hunter, Dean hadn't felt so different. When Dean had gone to Hell, he'd come back Dean.

This Dean tried too hard or not at all. Never one for social niceties, now using a fork seemed like a favor. This Dean slept on the floor, head pillowed on his arms. This Dean was... feral.

Sam saw normal slip away.
