Here's my try at a little Final Fantasy. I didn't really want to mess with the storyline of the game, so I inserted me! :D Please review and let me know if this is worth more content.
I never meant to be a Guardian. Heck, I didn't even wat to go to that stupid blitzball game. Mom and dad didn't care about that then, coure they didn't expect to die that day either. I was so grateful that I hadn't listened to them and had kept my knives with me. I was grateful for all that time I spent practicing acrobatics instead of learning how to play the stupid game like Dad had wanted me to. However, I hadn't expected to land near a summoner and her Guardians after flipping away from a Garuda. The mage had questioned about whether or not I would be a liability there, but the summoner was only concerned with defeating the fiends. She also had never said anything about looking for Guardians.
Here I was though on the Mi'hen Highroad. My only possesions with me and the closest thing to a family. A very messed up family at that. Yuna was like a ditzy mom, fearless leader that needed constant watch and protection. Auron was like the firm grandfather, what he says goes no questions asked. Lulu and Wakka were the aunt and uncle that were so very different it was a miracle they were together. Kilmari was the super-protective-of-his-sister uncle. Tidus was the only one I wasn't sure of. It looked like he could fit in as the father, cause he and Yuna obviously had a thing for each other. Yet, at times he seemed not to fit in at all. I was stuck being the kid they all loved but had great expectations for, since I'm the youngest out of all of them at 15. I straightened out my black knife pouches as I walked. It looked like a long half skirt on one side of my black shorts. I had many varieties of knifes and shruikans hidden in there as well as my close range blades. My jet black shirt had short sleeves and clung tightly to my slim frame. I still wasn't used to this outfit, but Auron had insisted that I wear it. "You are to look like a Guardian, not an assassin for hire.
