How would it be to have a Night Fury today?
It is challenging, that's for sure. Thanks to Genetic Manipulations, Scientist have achieved the unthinkable. Over the Years, the process has become cheaper and quicker to complete, which meant in return that for a select amount of People and Species, they could be modelled how to costumer wants them to be. Of course, there were the odd sick people, who wanted to create beastly creatures to test the limits, but they were dismissed immediately by the scientists. The whole process involves lots of crossing genetic DNA with each other, but here comes the level changing technique. The scientists were able to create a structure and code to assemble a chamber with the fitting software to create genes and DNA as they pleased. Costumers only were able to get a glimpse at the genius behind all this Magic, so they were sceptical at first, but with the products they were faced with, their scepticism soon vanished. And so the success Story of the decade begun.
And here we come to our fortunate, or unfortunate (depends how you look at it), candidate. Of course, as with every new Invention, they had to be tested, and those tests were quite...intense.
Our lucky hero of the day is Deven. He is just at the edge of 25 years old, tall guy, in the prime of his life and has a hopelessly occupied mind with Dragons. Good thing he is working in the Financial business, otherwise his dream would never come true. "Study hard while you can", was his motto and that brought him far. So far in fact, the he received an offer by the scientists lobby in the senate to be one of the candidates of getting the first "Get it how you want it" model. It's as simple as it sounds. Give the scientists the information they need, and they give you the product you want. The payments were done in advance of course, to be one of the first to get his beloved dream "product". And as any Dragons obsessed guy in his mid twenties, he choose the one and only dragon from his favourite franchise, the Night Fury from "How to train your Dragon". He thought long about his decision, before he send his Insta-Mail to the scientists.
"I mean, there is nothing as lame as choosing the Night Fury, because obviously almost anyone would do the same, but come on, at the same time there is no other dragon in the franchise who is as intelligent, fierce, strong and cute and adorable at the same time. He is just a all around package, one who you know you're in for a treat. And to hell with all the trouble that he's gonna create and all the expense he will cost me. I will be the first one to have a NIGHT FURY!" Deven knew what he wanted and quickly wrote down everything they needed to know. Size, Colour, Personality...name...wait. "What will I gonna name him? I mean, he technically is my own, but as far as I have filled out this formula, I want him as close to the original as possible. So there is no other way to call him 'Toothless'...Man that's lame, but I guess I have to life with that...Yes, Toothless...Toothless you will be alive once more."
And with those words he finished typing his Insta-Mail and the confirmation Mail was quick to arrive as well.
"WHAT!? Three Months?!" Deven realised, even though new technology is nice and all, good things have to take time. And even if it meant to wait another three months for Deven, he would be fine...yea, he would be fine...totally fine.
