Rusty went up to his food dish and licked up some water and some food. Today was the day to go explore the forest. As Rusty climbed the table and over the fence, a voice hissed,"Rusty, where are you going?" Rusty turned around and saw Smudge. "I going to explore the forest." said Rusty. "I would not do if I were you Rusty." Smudge replied. "Only for a look, I will be back by a few minutes." Smudge sighed and finally said" Don't tell me I didn't warn about the forest cats." Rusty dashed away into the forest and saw many things. One was a stump with moss on it. It had a very stale scent on it but Rusty walked up to another tree and saw a mouse near by. Rusty crouched down and was about to leap into a the air when he saw a pair eyes glowing in a bush. They were ice blue and was staring at him. Rusty grew uneasy and when a he was about to go home, a muscular tom slashed down on his eye and ears. Rusty yowled in pain and shivered in fear when the tom pinned him down. Rusty got a closer look and saw who he was. It was a tom bigger than he was and was brown withe darker brown stripes. His claws were longer and amber eyes fixed on Rusty. The cat growled "your on Thunder Clan ground" "I did not know!" Rusty mewed pleading and trying to get of the lock. Another cat appeared and said "What do you have under your paws Tigerclaw" Tigerclaw responded and said" A stupid kittypet on our ground Longtail." At that split second, Rusty pushed Tigerclaw with his hind paws, claw unsheathed and Tigerclaw yowled in fury and chased Rusty. Tigerclaw leaped and tackled Rusty. Rusty was pushed down on the ground and had his side slashed and bitten. Rusty had tears stream down and finally, with all his might, pushed Tigerclaw into Longtail and ran away to the twolegged city. Tigerclaw growled and turned away and Longtail stared at Rusty and then followed Tigerclaw. Rusty kept on running not caring where he was going and finally stopped at an ally. Then, the saw glowing ice blue eyes stared at him in the darkness. Then a black cat stepped out of the shadows and looked directly at him. Rusty stared at the tom and stepped back. The black cat took a step forward out of the shadows and again stared at Rusty. Rusty saw that the tom was small but had a collar studded with teeth,his claws reenforced with dog claws, and one white paw. For a few seconds, Rusty and the other cat looked at each other, then the black cat spoke, "I saw you fighting Tigerclaw, but tell me about you." Rusty replied "My name is Rusty I am nine moons old, my mother is Nutmeg and my father is Jake. My mom told me I had half brothers and sister named Socks, Ruby, and Tiny." The black cat shuddered when Rusty said Tiny and Jake." I am Scourge leader of Blood Clan" said Scourge "follow me if you are willing to join Blood Clan and have revenge on the forest cats." Rusty smiled evilly and followed Scourge
