A/N: Sorry for any confusion! This is told from Harry's point of view. It tells of his relationship with Ginny and of Draco's self mutilation.

Crimson Teardrop

I always knew--I always knew,

how special you have to be,

to cry Crimson Teardrops.

You were perfect—

Your silver hair glinting, like the sharp, two-edged words,

That spill from you mouth.

Your angular face—the pinnacle of an aristocrat,

your arms—littered with scars that dignify your weeping.

When I fell from a hundred feet in the air,

you cried Crimson Teardrops.

When I kissed her,

You cried the color of her hair.

When I asked her to marry me,

because it was anticipated by

the idiocy that surrounded me,

you wept shamelessly.

On the day of our wedding—her birthday,

you cried yourself out.

And at your funeral,

I cried too.
