Pink Sweater Summary: Kairi remembers when
the three'o was five, and a competition arose with a sunflower and
a pink sweater. (One-shot) Sora x Kairi Fluffiness. Challenge
#4 My fellow readers. My cousin and I just keep on challenging
each other; it gives me such great excitement to post another fanfic.
I will hopefully continue to post if things continue to go well
(and if inspiration continues hitting me real hard on the head).
I
always enjoyed reading fanfics… I never thought I was really the
author type, but my cousin proved me completely and totally wrong. At
least, that is what we think. Hopefully, you guys can prove us right
by reviewing. I hope you enjoy this little
one-shot/drabble/challenge!
. Captain Sparrow.
I
remember when we were five. It happened on a hot day…a Saturday to
be exact.
Riku and Sora were yet again having one of those "I
love Kairi more than you do!" arguments. (I despised those
arguments… it did make me feel important though).
"Whoever
buys Kairi the best gift, loves Kairi the most." Riku said in his
calm manner.
Sora seemed to think about it.
"Okay! You're
on Riku!"
They both spit in their hands and then shook them.
If you ask me that's nasty… whatever boys will be boys.
An
hour later, Riku appeared with a very pretty sunflower. Riku
stretched out his little hand with the sunflower.
"Here you go
Kairi!" I stared at the flower with bewilderment.
"Thank You
Riku, it's pretty.
Sora came running with a package, wrapped
in newspapers. He ran up to me. He looked at the package and then up
at me. He smiled lightly.
"This is for you, Kairi. I hope you
love it." He said the word love so strangely. I can't really
explain it I just knew that he knew I was going to love it or maybe
he was trying to make Riku nervous. He handed me the package.
I sat down crisscrossed and delicately wripped the newspaper the newspaper off to see a pink sweater! I lifted it and slid it over my head. The sleeves reached my knees, in other words the sweater was huge on me. I looked over it and I noticed it was made of a silky material.
I knew that the sweater must have cost him a lot; I mean we were five year olds. We only had a quarter a week to buy candy.
I jumped on Sora and hugged him. I yelled "Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!" Riku's face was disgusted. I let go of Sora and he smiled.
I bent over and gave him a peck
on the check and ran merrily with my sweater and sunflower home.
Sora and Riku stayed behind but, I swear I heard Sora yelled out
"Yay!"
To this day I still have the sweater. I am finally
turned fifth teen and it fits me. I bet Sora is going
to be surprised when he sees me wearing it!
I think it's sweet. I want to give a special shout out to f.e.e.l. in t.e.a.r.s and to darkangel357.
