Disclaimer: Ratchet and Clank are owned by Insomniac Games. I own nothing. A certain OC is owned by someone else.
"Ratchet... I know that... I know what it feels like..."
"Tal. Just shut up and go home." It killed me to say that, but I had to. There's no need for her or anyone to stay here with me. It will only prolong what I plan to do when I'm alone again.
"Just... Just don't do anything stupid." Talwyn put down a small green piece of glass on the coffee table and left.
I simply stared at the piece of glass for a few minutes as I recalled all the memories from the robot that made it. Why did they have to them away so soon?
"Ratchet... Sitting here will do nothing to bring her back." His voice almost broke me down to tears. Why was he not hurting as much as I was? He loved her as a mate. Shouldn't he be feeling the same as I am, or is a father losing his daughter different from a boyfriend losing their girlfriend.
"She didn't deserve this. She would never hurt anyone." I picked up the glass gear and simply turned it over and over in my hands.
"... She died for a good cause."
"Oh yeah, sure. Taking a rocket for me is a good cause." She should have let me die. I've done so much worse than she has.
"I would have done the same." I heard Clank leave shortly after he stated his thoughts. I only lowered my head as my vision blurred and I could only say three words before I curled up into a howling mess.
"I'm sorry, Circuit."
... ... ... Umm... ... ... Yeah. Happy 1K stories, guys...
