Pokémon : The Jotho chronicles

Authors notes : yes I really like Pokémon so I decided to make a little fanfic about it so enjoy

Chapter 1 : Professor Elm's request

The sun was out and the sound of a thousand bird pokémons songs echoed through the forest.
On this particular beautiful summer, Claire was taking one of the many routes through the forest on her way to New bark town, after she had gone through Cherrygrove town.

"Oh this is taking like forever right eevee" Claire complained.
"eeveee" eevee agreed.
"Hey look over there I can see a road sign come on eevee let's hurry"
The sign simply read: "Welcome to New bark town, where the wind blows a fresh start."

We're finally here after 3 days come on we still have to visit professor elm.

Elm's laboratory

Aah! Totodile! No, stay away from those papers! Cyndaquil don't burn the carpet please, I just vacuumed it! Chikorita help me!

Um hello ? Is this professor Elm's laboratory ?
"What? Oh, yes this is, ooh it's you Claire! I'm glad you made it! I'd like to have a word with you, but please first help calm down those two. They are making a mess of my lab."

Uh of course. Eevee use helping hand!
"eevee!" ( suddenly Totodile and Cyndaquil froze because the helping hand turned to a glare attack )
"Ooh thank you so much, they usually do stuff like this when something important is about to happen ." Ping! "Oh my chocolate cookies are ready!"

"Okay … growl, ehehe, its my stomach, can I have one of those cookies professor? I'm starving." "But of course you can, then I can explain to you why I called you over to my lab." After 5 minutes of cookie munching "So professor if I get this straight you want me to travel around for you and complete not only the Jotho pokédex but a complete national Dex!"

"Yes that basically says it. Do you approve?"

"We'll, yes of course. I'd love to travel with such a grand goal along the way."

"Good, better even! It's great! Here's the pokédex, take good care of it and one other thing before you leave."

"What is it professor?"

"Well these 3 have been here for so long I'd like you to pick one of them."

"You mean one of the starters?"

"Yes!"

"Well my choice would be Cyndaquil. I can't resist that cute timid personality of him."

"Quill!"

"Hehe, I think he already likes you. It's settled then, Cyndaquil is my good luck gift from me to you."

"Thanks professor, but I just thought of something. What happens with Chikorita and Totodile ?"

"Well in two days it's a journey season start for new trainers and I think I'll let two other new trainers get them. I've already received tons of letters."

"Well professor. Then I'll leave you to your letters."

"Good luck Claire, Eevee and Cyndaquil don't forget to have fun! "

"We won't forget it professor!"

And with that she left professer Elm's lab. She took the first steps out of his doorway, and with it the first steps to a grand journey, a journey of friendship, peril, happy and serious moments, and above all,... Pokémon
