Dreams Come True
After a few years since Xana died, everything has been peaceful at Kadic. Odd has been dating more girls and still getting rejected by other girls, nothing really changed for him. Jeremy and Aelita have hit it off real nice, going out on a lot of dates and sneaking out of their dorm rooms to make out. Ulrich and Yumi are still having problems with their "just friends" relationship. He hopes to finally be able to ask out Yumi.
Ulrich is heading over to the gym to practice Pencak Silat with Yumi. She is graduating this year and he won't be able to see her for a year. So he decided that he would try to ask Yumi out on a date. He opened the door and looked around for Yumi, she wasn't anywhere around.
"Yumi are you in here," said Ulrich, walking inside. The door closed and Ulrich turned around, Yumi closed the door.
"Are you ready for another match," said Yumi with a smile.
"Are you kidding, I always have time for a match," said Ulrich, getting into his fighting stance.
Yumi came at him with a sweep kick, but Ulrich jumped, dodging it. Yumi followed up with punch to the gut, Ulrich stepped to the side. Ulrich came at her with a roundhouse kick to the face but Yumi ducked, she did another sweep kick, knocking Ulrich on his ass. He quickly got up, trying to do a sweep kick but couldn't get near her feet because he didn't have enough momentum. Yumi tried to do a karate chop, but Ulrich caught it. She came for a kick to his head, knocking him back on his ass.
"You wanna give up yet," said Yumi.
"Not yet, not until I beat you," said Ulrich, brushing himself off.
"Dream on," laughed Yumi.
Ulrich came at Yumi with a punch to the chest, but Yumi caught it and got him with a punch to the chest. Yumi tried to kick him in the chest, but Ulrich blocked with his arms, following up with sweep kick, knocking her on her ass. He got on top of her and they were wrestling each other. Suddenly they stopped and started to blush. They got up and looked at each other.
"Well um…," said Ulrich, trying to figure out a way to ask Yumi out.
"Hang on, let me go change a minute," said Yumi, heading into the girls locker room. After she came back out, Ulrich was standing by the rock-climbing wall. Ulrich turned and blushed at her; he was trying to think of a way to ask her out.
"Hey um Yumi?" Ulrich asked, he looked like he was going to piss himself.
"Whats up Ulrich?" Yumi asked.
"Um…um…would you….would you like…," Ulrich stuttered.
"Yes," Yumi interrupted.
"Would you like to go to a movie sometime?" Ulrich asked.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" Yumi asked.
"Yeah, I know you just want to be friends, but I just wanted to ask," said Ulrich.
"Yeah, that's sounds fun," said Yumi, walking over to Ulrich and kissed him on the lips.
Ulrich looked like he was going to faint, but he tried his best not to. He walked with Yumi outside of the gym. They went on their date and they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
