Chapter 1
One morning in Fresno Sarah is watching her 5 year old son Drew playing in his soccer game trying to steal the ball from another player and laughs and feels a hand on her back and looks over "hey!" she says happily and kisses Adam's cheek
"hey how's he doing? Where is he?'' Adam asks her squniting
"great." Sarah points "right over there." Sarah tells him
Adam looks "oh yea look at that." Adam says and smiles
Sarah smiles happily.
"so um where's uh Seth?"Adam asks her
"late." Sarah tells him
"so um what are you doing here that you drove all the way up here from Berkeley?" Sarah asks him
"well I kind of had a feeling that Seth wasn't going to show up so the least I could do was drive up here to see my nephew play." Adam tells her
Sarah smiles "wow,well I appreciate that. You're a great uncle thank you. I'm sure Drew will appreciate you being here too." Sarah tells him
"good." Adam says watching Drew then turns to her
"so, where's Amber?" Adam wonders
"oh,um well she actucally slept over at a friend's house last night so I just let her stay there since this really isn't her kind of thing." Sarah tells him watching him watch Drew fight for the ball
Adam just cheers Drew on clapping his hands as Drew now has the ball.
Sarah just keeps looking over at him every few seconds and just smiles at him.
