Chapter 1
One Saturday morning Adam gets up and gets showered and is getting ready for Drew's t-ball game when Kristina wakes up and sits up rubbing her eyes.
"hey." she says softly
"morning sweetie." he says happily and kisses her
"where you off to so early?" she wonders
"I have Drew's baseball game to go to today sweetie Sarah asked me the other day if I could come down and watch him since Seth can't be there again." he tells her
"ugh that's right." she rolls her eyes
"what was with that?" he wonders
"nothing you're just always doing stuff with her kids who arn't your children instead of doing stuff with Haddie who is your child!" Kristina gets mad
"look they have a complicated life and don't exactly have a father or great male role model around." he tells her
Kristina just rolls her eyes.
"she's my sister. Of course I would never say no to her." he tells her
Kristina scofts rolling her eyes "of course." she mumbles and stays quite for a few minutes "can't Zeek just do it or go and do it?" she wonders
Adam bops his head around rolling his eyes at her "no. And I'm going good-bye." he kisses her and leaves
"have fun!" she calls after him
Adam slams the door downstairs and gets in his car and drives over to the game.
