Living Hell

I scream
But no one can hear me
Darkness surrounds me
Never ending

I reach
But nothing is there
The never ending blackness
This soundless, spaceless, hell

I step
Attempting fate
My foot lands hard
On the ground of space

I touch
The ground is cold and lifeless
A path appears
Surrounded by black

I walk
One foot in front of the other
Ghosts, demons and evils surround me
Their presence chilling my core

I hum
It doesn't help much
I continue down the path
Pondering my destiny

I speak
My voice is comforting over the moaning
My smart remarks stir up the demons
They stare at me

I stumble
They drag me back
I fight them off
They turn to dust

I see
A light, a bright light
Out of it steps a man
My one and only beloved

I run
Towards him I go
Not caring what happens to me
I must get to him

I reach
His hand grabs mine
Lifts me from this hell
He looks like them but yet he is different

I cry
He holds me
His arms always open
Comforting me

We leave
My Angel carries me out
Death is left behind
A new life lay out in front
