Yeah, I know, Venom on a teen, put him on The Team, and expect them to cause some interesting spots. I'll let you guys choose on the pairing, should I have him with Artemis, Miss Martian, Zatanna, or bring in another heroine to the team. Also, the Prologue is two years before the story truly begins. I'll let you decide, but for now let me introduce you to Mr. Venom.

Prologue: Name's Venom

Drake Maverick was like most fifteen year olds, he just couldn't wait to turn sixteen and start driving. He also wished for several other things, like being able to help people, just like the Justice League. He knew that was a rather childish thing to wish about.

However, one trip to a San Francisco changed everything. Him and his father went to some science place named the Life Foundation. When his father let him by himself, he snuck into one of the forbidden labs. When he did he accidentally knocked over a container, which held a black substance that would unnoticeably attach itself to Drake's leg as he headed out of the lab.

A couple days later, when he and his father got back to their hometown of Gotham, he went to the bathroom and washed his face as he breathed heavily. After drying his face with a towel, he looked at his reflection

"Drake..."

"The fuck," Drake said in confusion as he looked around the room.

He whirled around at the sound of the dark, growling voice but nobody was there. He frowned in confusion and turned back to look in the mirror, but instead of seeing his reflection... He saw Venom had replaced him and he was suddenly pulled and slammed against the wall,falling into the bath tub.

"Shit." He winced.

"Drake, listen to me..." The voice said again and Drake looked around."I'm in your mind, I had attached myself to you back at Life Foundation."

It took Drake a moment, he could've sworn he had heard that voice before. "You're Venom are you? The vigilante that stalked San Francisco years back?"

"Correct, me and Eddie had a good run before they sicked that Anti-Venom symbiote on us. Eddie unfortunately didn't make it." Venom told his newest host. Drake could have sworn it was grieving it's old host.

"So what are you going to do, take over my body and go on a killing spree for revenge?" Drake asked Venom.

"No, that is not what I want. After Eddie and I became Anti-heroes in San Fransisco while dealing with the Life Foundation that I decided to not be a villain nor a hero. We became an Anti-Hero, hurting only the bad people."

"So wait, you're wanting to be a hero?" Drake asked confused.

"No, an Anti-Hero, the world has too many heroes already." Venom said with what sounded like an annoyed sigh."We will only hurt the bad people who don't deserve to live anymore. The scumbags like robbers, we can just beat them up, but the ones like murderers, rapists,terrorists, them we take down with our teeth"

Drew actually saw Venom's point on it, and he wasn't against it, but he had conditions. "Okay, but if we do this, we will only hurt bad people that deserve it, because we're in the Bat's city." He told the symbiote sternly. In response, out of his shoulder, a black snake like head appeared with sharp teeth and white lenses for eyes.

"Look into my eyes, Drake. The way I see it, we can do whatever we want, and not the Bat or anyone else can tell us otherwise." Venom said firmly. "Cooperate, and you just might survive. Do we have a deal?"

Drake thought it over for a brief moment before a smirk formed over his face. "Deal."

A couple hours later, it was now night and Drake was now on the roof. "What if Batman catches us or learns that we're in his city?"

"The Dark Knight can kiss our ass." Venom told Drake as he started to form around his new host, making him a pure black creature that was big, muscled, white veins over it's body, white jagged lenses for eyes, and sharp and long fangs that wanted to taste flesh, also a longer tongue.

'Wow, we look awesome as hell.' Drake commented.

"Yes, we do. Now let's go kick some ass!" Venom said as he leaped off the roof.

They prowled the streets until they heard the screaming of a woman not far from them. When they landed on a nearby roof and saw a woman surrounded by thugs. Venom then stretched his arms down their and grabbed two of them and when they came back up, they were done for. The final two were starting to run, thinking it was the Bat, but boy did they wish it was as Venom dropped down and grabbed a man by his leg and slammed into the corner of the wall, breaking his victim's back. The last one was half way down the street before Venom caught him and threw him into a nearby alley, what was about to happen wasn't for the public to see.

"Who are you?" the man asked in fear.

Venom then grabbed the man by the throat putting him up to eye level. "We are Venom." That was all Venom said before he went for the kill and satisfying the hunger of the symbiote. Once he was finished, Venom left, the city won't know about their existence just yet.

The next two years have been productive for Drake and Venom as they have helped lower Gotham's crime rate because everyone was afraid of being eaten. They have also successfully hid from the Batman, or so they thought, hopefully. Also, Drake seemed to have caught someones eye at school, a blonde named Artemis. Venom insisted he should make a move, but Drake wasn't sure.

One thing Drake was sure about was that he was glad he accepted the symbiote's partnership.

I hope you like the back story of Drake Maverick, The Young Justice Universe's Venom. I know that the League will probably not accept him to join the Team initially, but in time, he just might. Also, I think which ever girl I'm pairing him with won't mind a bad boy. This is the 2018 version of Venom by the way.
