Here's my newest story, except this time it's a poem. My first wack a poetry. I hope you like it. This is supposed to be about Rukia and Ichigo's relationship. It could apply to any couple really, but it's intended for them.

Jump
They stand on the borderline
Of safety and uncertainty
Neither willing to cross over first
Unsure of what lays on the other side
They already know the journey there
Was full of hardships
painful and conflicting
But also full of cherished moments
That neither wants to forget
They stand far enough to keep their distance
But close enough to almost touch
What is on the other side
But almost isn't the real thing
They are afraid of what is on that other side
But neither will admit it
To themselves or to each other
She has been there once
Alone
It was good for a time
But then she was hurt
And she is scared to go back
He hasn't been there
Ever
He's almost gone
But always held back
and he wonders
Is it really so nice
As everyone says?
So with their insecurities they stand at this border line
Of safety and uncertainty
Both poised ready to cross over
But so hesitant to take action
But when it comes to crossing that line
From safety to uncertainty
From denial to admittance
From friendship to love
Sometimes you just need to hold hands with someone
And jump
Fall
And take the plunge
Into the unknown
Together
Voila! It is done. Remember this is my first attempt at poetry so please be kind. It was kind of spur of the moment writing. Seriously i wrote this at 6:30 am in ten minutes.
