The war was raging on. Students as young as eleven and professors as old as...well who knows dying and falling to the ground everywhere. At the edge of the battlefield there were two teenagers having a heated argument.

"Ron, let me go! I want to help Harry!"

Hermione seethed with anger towards her best friend.

Hermione, you are not going and that's final!"

'Why can't she understand. Can't she see that I don't want her to get hurt?' he thought.

"Ronald, I'm going out there to help Harry because if we don't then who will?"

"Hermione you can't go because... because..."

"What is it?!"

"Because I... I love you! There I said it are you happy? Now you can laugh."

Hermione could not believe it. He felt the same way as she did. After all these years of thinking he liked Lavender.

"Ron, believe it or not I love you too."

He then swept her up into his arms and kissed her passionately.

"Alright then, let's go help Harry."

After hours upon hours the war was finally over. During this time the Wizarding World lost two of the three greatest heroes of all time.

Apparently while Hermione had been in an intense duel with a Death eater when she had been hit squarely in the chest with the killing curse.

Ron, who was watching the whole thing, ran after said Death eater. Then the Death eater led him to an ambush where he was tortured for hours on end and then killed.

Harry having won the war went to look for his best friends. When he had realized what had happened he became distant. He stopped talking to everybody. But everyday he was seen at their gravesite where it read:

Ronald Weasley & Hermione Granger

Brother, Son, Hero and Best Friend & Daughter, Hero, and Best Friend

Even In Death Their Love Is Eternal

This is for rons.gryffindor.girl who was the one and only reviewer so far on Her Blessing. She may not have liked it but she inspired me to write this. I hope that she and anyone else who reads it likes it!
