Chapter 1 - Another World
The Gaang was sleeping the night away. Of course they didn't have much to do except run from Azula and the people she hired to attack them. As they slept Zuko decided to keep watch for the night, he'd get sleep sometime tomorrow. Occasionally changing his look to the burning fire then to the darkness of the night he thought of his uncle and where he could be. A cup of his tea would be nice right about now along with some analogy that Zuko wouldn't understand. A sigh escaped his lips as he thought of his uncle. Staring off into the sky he watched the stars next. He didn't expect anything other than the usually night sky but of course Zuko never had the best of luck. The occasional shooting star shot across the sky but a singular one made its way near the group. Zuko wasted no time awaking the crew. Most of them were still sleepy but upon spotting the meteor they jolted fully awake.
"What do we do?" Sokka shouted as he panicked to gather his things, most specifically locating and hold his boomerang for comfort.
"Run. What else are we supposed to do?" Katara replied just as panicked.
"I honestly don't see what's so bad," Toph said shrugging her shoulders.
"Now is not the time, Toph!" Sokka replied with his frantic tone.
"Guys! It's getting closer!" Aang shouted.
With no time to run to Appa, their only defense was flinching away from the oncoming space rock. Once the rock made contact with the surface a few feet away from the camp site they had set up, it gave off a bright blinding light, covering the area in the blinding whiteness. As the rock continued to tumble over to the camp, the Gaang was left unharmed. Of course that may have been since they were no longer in the path of the rock but somewhere else entirely; a completely different world. As they opened their eyes to see their surroundings each were utterly alone, spread out and away from each other.
