This is Snake's poem, which has been requested. It is longer than 'Joker's Mask', probably because Snake is my favourite character in Kuroshitsuji. I mean, he's just... imperfectly perfect! *Swoons*

Sweet, shy snake of slick scales and soft, stuttering sounds

Hisses to his slithering friends who will act as advisors

Snake's companions provide him with what to say

In return, he names them after linguistic, literary legends

Serpents with unique personalities

Childlike Dan, Flirty Emily, and Oscar the Naive

There's Wilde- calm, cool and collected

But there are so many more, only Snake

Takes the time to hear their insistent hisses

Snake of cornsilk hair and haphazard scales

Tell-tale cheeks that glow pink oh so easy

As of yet Snake, awkwardly stuck in a butler's attire

Several serpents slide under his clothes no more

And rest in by the fireplace and in the greenhouse instead

In the circus they performed a magical dance

But now they serve

As a butler for their grim Young Master, Smile

But before the circus was a life in a cage

Their days from jeers and abuse to 'ooh's and 'ahh's to 'Clean this up at once!'

They were in a Freak Show, sold by Snake's own mother

Yes it hurt, but he remains kind and caring

They said one such as him was ugly and scary, the child of Lucifer himself

How could they overlook such as him

The exquisite, exotic beauty he holds, only heightened by sweet innocence

Can they not realize that his abilities

Are just that, abilities?

Or shall they forever see his assets as flaws?

But that is the curse of man, to be afeared of the unexplained and unusual

There ya go! A Snake poem! But I don't think I did very good. *My Sister* Well of course it isn't very good, you're the one who wrote it. *Me* Bu-but... *In the emo corner*
