Memories - FFXIII
The wind exerted on me, the waves crashing on the moist sand, tears ran down my face, as I looked into the distance of the wild stormy sea, thinking of you and what was once, us.
Leaning down to my knee-high boots, I slid my hand down the side of them, pulling my hand out, I gripped a steel dagger. Slowly lifting it up to my neck, my hand couldn't stop shaking; memories came flooding into my head. Pointing it to the vein, it slowly pierced the skin from my uncontrollable hand. The pain you caused was ripping my heart into two. My tears dripped onto the sleek sharp blade, reflecting my expression of shame and depression.
When I think of the short time, that we've been together, and of all of the happy memories we've already shared, it amazes me to no end, and I know that we were meant to be together, I look at you and see overflowing love, hope, and joy, as well as charm, strength, happiness and dignity. With all of these wonderful qualities, it's no wonder I love you so.
A familiar voice called my name out in the distance, "Serah!"
He caught me off guard from behind, sweeping me up and gently placing me on his shoulder, the knife being knocked out of my hand. My eyes were tightly shut, hiding the fear and sorrow. I managed to glance at his pale face, crystal clear tears trickling out of his eyes making a pool around them. He slowly took me down and laid me on the sweet, soft healthy green grass. He kneeled beside me, and wiped the sadness away from my eyes, picked up my hand and kissed it.
"I 'am truly sorry, you know I didn't mean to, you know I didn't! So ill apologise for hurting you deeply and it's such a misunderstanding. I love you Serah Ferron, and I always will, that was a promise and I haven't broken it yet. Can you please forgive me, that's all I ask?" Snow cried out having his knuckle gently brushing her cheek.
I smiled willingly, "I didn't understand what you meant, I was reckless Snow, I am the one that needs to apologise, but I will forgive you."
Snow gave me an impotent look. I sat up, taking hold of his warm hand and looked him straight in the eye.
"Let's continue together as one, forever." Snow whispered.
The ocean calmed, so lovely, the sun about to set, I gaze into your misty eyes, you make my heart flutter, your arms wrap around me, you pull me in closer, my heart against yours, yours against mine, they beat as one, laying my head on your shoulder, I whisper in your ear, "I Love You Snow."
In return you lean in for a kiss, ending the day, together as one...
