Bah.
"What?" He asked, sounding tired and impatient at the same time. He couldn't even bring himself to look at the other boy who just closed the door behind his back; his stare was fixed on a random spot on the floor instead. The sound of a sigh reached his ears and he felt himself being pushed backwards until his bum came in contact with a desk.
"You didn't sleep at all last night again, did you?"
He almost had an urge to cringe: the voice, while primarily worried, was also laced with resentment. It didn't scare him, he was not afraid of the blonde – he had no reason to be. He felt bad, because he knew he had been causing worry and concern, something which he knew he shouldn't have.
Gulp.
"…I can live with it," he mumbled eventually.
"Harry…" Draco breathed, exasperated. His arms found their ways around his boyfriend, who now, half-sitting, was shorter than him and thus found himself trapped with his face pressed against a slowly moving chest, the material of the soft turtleneck the blonde wore tickling his nose.
"That's hardly the point," the calm voice went on. "You look knackered, you can't focus… Heck, you're barely even awake in classes… You've no appetite either and you're starting to look like some emo who's overdone his eyeliner and who looks paler than even me."
Uh oh.
Draco Malfoy using himself as a device for humor was virtually unheard of, even when the two of them were on their own.
Gulp.
Maybe it was time for the retreat. Not that the boy's voice turned threatening or some such, but still.
Yet, he couldn't seem to do anything, other than punching the blonde lightly in the chest with his fist.
"Bastard," he whispered.
"Prat," came the answer instantly and Harry could swear he heard Draco's lips curling up into a smile.
"Git."
"I love you, still."
"Y-yeah, well, then, maybe you should be spending the nights with me," Harry said boldly, turning his head to look up at the other boy, right into those swirling silver orbs. Even those were smiling, in a sweet and loving way. "So that I might be able to actually sleep, y'know."
"Of course," the blonde replied, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.
Sigh.

Author's note: Um, I've no idea where this one came from. o_o''' It just...sort of invaded me and then it was there on the paper. As for why "TIMELESS"...I kinda feel like it could be inserted just about anywhere in the story, with the deliberate omission of any event-frame or time-reference. And as for the turtleneck...who knows, Draco might just be hiding some lovebites on his neck. ^^ Anyways, let me know how you liked it, please. :)
