Cole was too busy rocking out to the music blaring from his headphones to notice that he was being followed. As he unlocked the door to his dorm room he was shoved inside, causing the music he was hearing to suddenly stop as the headphones were ripped from his ears.
"What the hell, man?" he said obviously thinking whatever was going down was some sort of rough housing.
He tried to turn around to face whoever had entered his room but was stopped as the man grabbed hold of him and held a knife to his throat.
"Shut the fuck up, Aaronson." The man spat back.
Cole heard the door close and lock, realizing there was another person in the room and that whoever they were, they knew exactly who he was.
"What do you want?" Cole said quietly, tensing.
The man released his grip on Cole's arm and instead grabbed Cole's hair, painfully forcing Cole's head back. The man spoke directly into Cole's ear. "We have a message for your daddy." Cole squeezed his eyes shut in pain as well as anticipation. The man was obviously angry. And to make things worse, he was outnumbered.
The man turned Cole around and forced him backwards until he slammed into the wall. He gripped Cole's shirt and stared threateningly as he closed the large knife and put it into his pocket.
"Do you happen to know where your dad is?" The man asked as Cole looked from one man to the other.
"No." Cole said blinking wildly. "I never really know what he's doing." He said with sincerity.
The men exchanged glances and one even laughed. "Figures he'd be a prick of a father." The one across the room said.
Cole swallowed, his nerves getting the best of him as he attempted to push against the hand on his chest.
"Don't struggle." The man said shoving Cole back against the wall.
"Just get off me." Cole said pushing the man away. The man's response was to punch Cole hard in the stomach. Cole doubled over in pain and the man grabbed him by the neck slamming his head into the wall and cutting off his breathing. Cole tried to pry the man's hand from his throat as he struggled to catch the breath that had been knocked out of him by the punch.
"That was stupid." The man stated before throwing Cole to the ground and hitting him until Cole gave up fighting.
The two men then pulled Cole up from the ground and forced him face down onto his bed.
Cole was too hurt to resist the men, but knew his situation was getting worse. He heard the sound of duct tape being unrolled and grunted as his hands were held together and his wrists were bound.
