Chapter 1 Fallen Heart
The Awayuki Manor abandoned since exactly three years ago when its residents had departed. The sky was dull and gray as rain poured down onto the dark grass from storm clouds above. Cold, dark blue eyes stared upon the manor as the rain fell upon the grass. It was obvious who the pair of eyes belonged to Hayate. His hair was over both eyes, but anyone could easily see those eyes that could melt anyone's heart. Thoughts were racing through his head as he looked at this mansion that was empty. A new family, were said to have moved in by the end of the week, but he didn't care about that right now. The only thing that he had on his mind was what happened three years ago…
Hayate had rushed into Himeno's room shouting her name. He had abruptly opened the door and stood there silently. There resting upon the bed was an unmoving body Himeno. Her pinkish hair was stained red as well as most pieces of her clothing. "H-Himeno…?" Hayate had stuttered. It was not clear to him who or possibly what had caused this. His first instinct though was to run over to the girl he loved and hope & pray that she was ok… It hadn't been enough though. That girl, Himeno, who lay upon the bed, had become eternally silent and had fallen into a sleep that would last forevermore…
Hayate was silent as he remembered what had happened that dreadful day. He sighed and looked away trying to forget what happened even though it seemed impossible. He put his hands in his pocket and began to walk off thinking of other things that began to fall into his mind. The leafe' knights (excluding himself) had been searching for a new pretear now, ever since Himeno's death. Though Hayate doubted that they would ever find a pretear that would could be like Himeno and so he had refused to search.
'No one…' he thought, 'can replace her…' His mind moved onto yet another subject now as he walked past the manor. He remembered that day when they first met Himeno. She had been a nuisance at first, but she had begun to fall into his heart. Soon he had fallen in love with Himeno and now that she was dead, he didn't know what to do with himself. He had given up and didn't wish to go on anymore, but somehow he did… although he could never forget about that day those horrid three years ago…
