The Geki Pair
"Hi Ran, Jan and Retsu! It's good to see you training." Master Shafu exclaimed.
"Let's take a break." Ran suggested.
"Ok!" Retsu and Jan replied. It had been a long time that the 3 Gekirangers came back and met each others. As they sat down and started to talk about when they were fighting monster.
"Well, I better leave. I need to visit my animal friend!" Jan said. Then he left. There was only Retsu and Ran left. Retsu could felt his heart beating so fast. Then he finally said," Well I'm taking shower. See you later Ran!"
"Ok" Ran seemed dissapointed. Then Retsu quickly walked away.
Why am I so stupid? Why don't I just tell her now? Retsu blamed himself. While Ran was still sitting there and was thinking, why didn't I take the chance when Jan was gone? Why was wrong with me at that time? After Retsu finished his shower, Ran and Retsu went out for a walk.
"The air is so fresh isn't it?" Ran asked.
"Uh.. Yeah." Retsu stammered.
"What's wrong?" Ran asked.
"Nothing." He blushed and looked away.
"Umm… Ran… I want to tell you something…" Retsu said.
"What?" Ran curious. Just then, Gou and Ken and Jan appeared from nowhere.
"Hey! Ran, Retsu come over here." Jan yelled.
"Jan, Gou, Ken! We're coming!" Ran smiled and grabbed Retsu then ran over where Jan was standing.
I missed the chance again! Retsu thought.
Then he heard a whispered, "Hey brother, don't worry! You'll get your chance."
"Huh?" Retsu confused. Then he saw his brother, Gou winked at him.
At night, when all the Gekirangers were asleep. Retsu felt like he couldn't sleep so he went out for a walk. Then he saw Ran.
"Oh hi Retsu." Ran looked and grinned.
"What are you doing out here?" Retsu asked.
"I can't sleep. How about you?" Ran replied.
"Me too." Retsu continued.
"Oh, yeah. What was the thing that you were telling me then Jan cut the word?" Ran asked.
"Umm… I want to tell you that… Ran…. I like you!" Retsu blushed.
"Ummm…. Me too." Ran nodded and blushed.
They sat with each others and hugging until sunrise.
