One day, Luigi was looking on the computer for a place to take swimming lessons.
He never told anyone, but Luigi could not swim!
But then, Daisy walked into the room and saw what Luigi was looking at on the computer and laughed!
"Luigi! You never told me you couldn't swim?! That is hilarious!" Daisy laughed.
"Daisy... Please don't laugh... it makes me feel bad..."
"Oh I'm sorry Luigi, I just thought you knew how to swim..."
"Oh its ok Daisy, I always get made fun, so that's why I am going to learn."
"Well good for you Luigi!" Daisy told him happily and walked out of the room.
After that, Luigi kept on looking, and finally found a good place called "SWIMSMOOTHLY" in his area to take his lessons.
Then, the next day, he headed on over to the place, and went to the boys' locker room to get in his swim trunks.
When he was all done, he walked out of the door that lead to the pool.
A woman greeted him, and they got started.
"Ok, first do a couple of bobs in the water to get yourself wet, then watch me." The woman instructed Luigi.
After Luigi did his bobs, he watched the lady switch arms back and forth pushing her forward.
Then Luigi tried. He was doing pretty good.
After that, the lady told him "You are a quick learner Luigi! Now lets tread water."
So Luigi got into the middle of the pool as the woman instructed him to, and tried to hold himself above the water without sinking.
He almost sunk, but then got some strength and lifted himself up again.
When he was done, he did a couple of other things, and now he could swim really good!
He thanked the kind lady that thought him how to swim, went into the locker room, got dressed, and went home feeling good about what he had accomplished.
