Bear's p.o.v
"Kyle? Where are you, you little scamp!" Its been officially one year since I took in my new foster child Kyle. He's only 4 years old. At first he was distant and not very social but one year later, I can barely keep up with this boy. I was in the middle of cleaning dishes when he came out and called, "Bear! COME AND FIND ME!!!" so now I was searching for that boy all over the house. I looked behind the curtains, under the table, and even in the closet near the front door. "Darn it. Where are you little guy." I said to myself. I could hear a distant giggling and the sounds of rapid footsteps upstairs. Using my sniffer, I climbed up the stairs and followed the scent.
I thought I heard him run to the bathroom until I heard something knocked over in my bedroom so I looked there. I stood in the doorway, looked around the room, when my eye caught something. A human foot was peaking out from under the bed. I was tempted to get down and grab him but I had a better idea. So called out, "Oh dear. I can't seem to find Kyle. I guess I will go and look somewhere else." I walk out of the room and stood against the wall, making stomping sounds with my feet. Stomp-stomp-stomp-stomp... I heard emerge from the bed and saw him walk out the room and into the hall, that's when I gently placed a paw on his shoulder and said, "Boo!" He screamed out of excitement and ran back downstairs, with me in pursuit.
"I'm gonna get you!" I called in a scary voice. I made it to the livingroom. And I immediately saw him behind my swing. "I see you!" I ran over to him but somehow he evaded me again. "You're a sly one!" Once again I heard him running up the stairs so I followed him. It was now silent, I used my earshot to listen. I followed him to the attic, I looked around when I saw a silhouette on the balcony. He was looking over the rail so I slowly crept slowly behind and... started tickling him. "I gotcha! I told ya I was gonna getcha!" I sat down and crosed my legs and placed the giggling boy between my lap. The moonlight was shining in through the doorway. While in my criss-cross legs, he snuggled into my fuzzy tummy. "You like the view?" He nodded. He started yawning and I can tell his eyes were growing heavy. So i took him to his room and tucked him in.
